What does the future of work look like for me?

The world of working is changing rapidly, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for students to discern their place in it.

In this unit, students will explore their strengths, interests, and skills to identify potential future career paths for them, and then will establish what they need to do to set themselves on that path and succeed in it 

Key tasks

• Career & skills profile. Students will build a profile for the type of career that suits them, based on the skills they currently have and different aspects of their personality

• A ‘day in the life’ interview. From their career shortlist, students will choose one and speak to someone currently working in that role. They must interview them to determine what a day in the life of someone working in that career is like
