In this season of the Block, students will be redesigning a space within their school!

 

Students are tasked with creating a new learning space which promotes wellbeing in all its forms, as well as promoting innovative learning.

 

To do so, students must explore these concepts to design their space, then create a model of it to present to the architects  

 

Key tasks

• Design for wellbeing and sustainability. Students will explore the design of different buildings and sites around the world to consider how urban design can make us feel or appreciate different things. They will take principles from these case studies to apply to the design of their own learning space

• Designing a space. Students must design a learning space through sketching and 3D modelling whilst working off a notional budget
